What should I do with angry people?

01). Do pay close attention.
= Angry or difficult person will get more difficult if they sense you are distracted or humouring them. They should get the feeling that they are the only person in your universe at the moment. And use theirs name as soon as possible in the discussion. Also, taking notes will send a clear message that their concerns are very important.

02). Do remain calm and respectful.
= Nothing fuels anger like angry words in return or any indication that the person issues are not seen as real or important. Keeping a pleasant demeanour (not exaggerated smiling) and maintaining friendly eye contact (not looking away or staring in a challenging manner) will convey the appropriate non-verbal messages.

03). Do send the message, “I’m here to help”.
= The angry person wants to feel special. They will be looking for clues in your word and actions that say, “This person understand my concerns and is willing to help”.
